WHY IS THE AZ CORPORATION COMMISSION (ACC) IMPORTANT TO YOU?
The Arizona Corporation Commission (ACC) is the state’s 4th branch of government designated in the State’s constitution as the regulatory branch governing non-municipal utility companies, including energy, gas, water, land line communications and registration of corporations. In short, the ACC determines what rates your utility companies can charge you for water and power; thereby impacting your family’s budget.
Control of the 5 Member Board of Commissioners is at stake in this election with 3 open seats to be determined. If Democrats are successful in gaining control of the Board, they will turn Arizona into California with sky high utility costs and rolling blackouts.
